Leading Analyst Firm Selects Kaavo Inc. as a Cool Vendor in Cloud Management

May 24, 2010, Stamford, CT – Kaavo Inc., an innovative provider of solutions for managing distributed applications in the clouds announced today that it has been selected by Gartner as a cool vendor in cloud management. The Gartner report, “Cool Vendors in Cloud Management, 2010” published March 31, 2010 by Milind Govekar et al,  is a listing of companies with innovative products to simplify the complexities of cloud-computing management.

Kaavo provides solutions for managing distributed applications in the cloud. Its primary product, IMOD (Infrastructure and Middleware on Demand) takes an application centric approach for managing resources in the cloud. IMOD allows businesses to easily deploy and run secure and scalable applications and workloads in the clouds. According to Gartner, “By 2015, more than 25% of enterprises will directly use application infrastructure technology that is cloud-based, up from less than 4% in 2010.”* With the prediction of such rapid growth, the demand for infrastructure management tools such as Kaavo’s IMOD will also increase significantly.
