IBM’s Twitter Cloud Chat is a monthly discussion revolving around hot topics in the cloud computing industry. On August 11th, the discussion will focus on the need for open cloud and standards. Participants will discuss drivers for cloud standards like interoperability, hybrid cloud, security and compliance. Other participants include Andrew Watson, Vice President and Technical Director, OMG and Dr. Chris Harding, Forum Director, The Open Group Cloud Computing Work Group.

Mr. Somashekar is an industry expert and has more than 18 years of global experience in the enterprise IT management industry. Throughout his career Mr. Somashekar has been involved in developing solutions for key industry areas such as cloud computing, data center automation, business service management and green IT.
